2109 BROADWAY – THE ANSONIA CONDO
Originally built in 1899 as a residential hotel by william earle dodge stokes, the phelps-dodge copper heir and shareholder in the ansonia clock company, the building was named for his grandfather, the industrialist anson greene phelps. Then designed by paul duboy in the 1970s, was converted into rental apartments.
