PCVST, once known as the Gas House District, has faced much revamping over the last few decades. Now, it is often viewed as an affordable and family-friendly neighborhood near Irving Plaza, Union Square, the Flatiron District, and other popular sites in the Lower East Side. The community also flutters with young employees and students from New York University, which is just a few minutes away too.
